FIA GT / Orschesleben
I read on official FIA GT site entry list. There not mentioned Maserrati and Creation Lister. Do you know someone what about.

Huh? If you look at http://www.fiagt.com/results.php?eve...e=Entry%20List, you will see 2 Maseratis on the entry list.
The Creation Lister is indeed not on there. Maybe there will be some news soon... Quote:

I think Creation is well advised to put the listers on sale,as things are they could only destroy the reputation of the cars being fast and reliable.
The Corvette story is around for quite a while but in all honesty ,why should they buy a Corvette eligible only for LMES,LeMans and ALMS when they have a very competitive car for these races already? With their 6 Guys I cannot imagine them taking two cars to the 1000km races..as they have already the Ligier to take along to race in the classic sportcar round at the same weekend.. If they can get hold of a C-6R ?did I hear these may get homologated for the Fia-GTs? |

I thought that the C5-R was due to be homologated for FIA competition?

then buying c5-Rs of 04 was not a bad idea....these cars are made for 24hours of bashing....
Of course in FIA-GT Trim it will be quite a different animal... how could I miss the fact they will get homologated? |

That Belcar C5R is running with a considerable handicap iirc.

Wich handicap? It's fast (like the US ones) but not reliable at all. At least not for the longer distances.

Well in Belcar the C5-R weighs in at 1250kg which is 100kg more than usual for the car (1152kg)

Creation may not be a big organisation but look how the DBA
fares in their hands.....It has the speed to match the works Zytek and how much more could you ask of a private effort? the DBA is quite a bit more sophisticated technically then the corvette. No fears, they can handle that one.I´m sure pratt&miller are more than willing to supply lifing data of the components as well as perfect setup tables gathered in lon testing sessions.Exactly what a bunch of capable guys with no testing budgets need to spring big surprises. |

Interesting spelling of "Oschersleben" in the topic header - it associates (unwittingly?) the track with a certain part of the human anatomy normally used for sitting on.

Yep - you´re right
Although at least the track is not so bad as it is sometimes roumored. Many drivers say they like the mid-fast corners and for spectators it is due to the high located tribunes an perfect track to overview and make photos. And the price-level on the east-german tracks in generally more acceptable. Although I would like to see them running at the Sachsenring... |
