Team Australia/Walker Racing order 3 DP 01s

The 2007 season has already gotten off to an early start for Walker Racing/Team Australia. Champ Car has introduced its new car, the Panoz DP01, which is not only bringing new life into the series but into the team as well, who already have three DP01's ordered.
Three new Panoz DPo1's were ordered and the team expects the delivery of the first set of the 2007 cars in November.

I think the Gelles Racing team were the first to place an order for the new chassis but I'd imagine most (if not all) the current CC teams have put their money down now.

Well three seems a bit low to me dont teams usually have three cars for every driver they run?

Might just have been an initial order with whatever budget they had available, to get an early start on testing.

Good thnking Rusty - the teams whose initial order is in before November will be able to hit the tracks this year. It doesn't make me doubt that they will run 2 cars next year, if not 3.
