8 for me loved the wheel to wheel stuff that was missing in former seasons DRS is proving to be a great success.

I gave it a 6. It was alright, but my mind did wander at times.

Gave it a 7 - DRS zone made passing a little TOO easy by the look of it - although maybe that is needed there with the set of corners just after the DRS zone.

7 for me too - outstanding first half of the race, but tailed off towards the end. The DRS had too much effect in this one too, Brundle called it right - the zone was just too long.

7 for me...entertaining with plenty of clean wheel to wheel, notably the McLarens. But felt a little for Rosberg as you have to wonder that without DRS he may have been able to defend his position better

I gave it a 5. Did anybody REALLY think Vettel wasn't going to pull it off?
Too many stops, the passing is getting more and more contrived and I hate to say it's getting a bit like NASCAR with the constant passing & repassing. Next well have 4 cars side by side and drafting; we already have the bumping. |

Gave it 7 - pretty good racing......
Not enough overtaking, though |

I gave it a 6 - I just couldn't engage with it today. It kind of passed me by.

8. Great race and some great passing that didn't require the use of the DRS (Button on Massa, last corner).

I gave it an 8 as well. Yep, pass of the race goes to Button going around the outside of Massa.
Plus some good battles with Button and Hamilton. Good that McLaren allow them to race one another. Tam mates allow to race one another - It will never catch on! I don't think Spain is going to able to compete with this race or China. I think even with the long straight and DRS it is still going to be very difficult to overtake there. Unless the weather plays a part in that circuit. |

6. Would've been an 8 or 9 if Vettel broke down or something.

I gave it 8.
Pluses: Lots of place-changing with or without DRS Drivers seem to have lost the habit of crshing into one another (less desperation now that overtaking is back on the agenda) Some cracking overtakes, especially by JB and the McLaren twins in general Drivers are now giving each other room (Renault twins excepted), something I have been banging on about for years Minuses: Perhaps too many pitstops DRS was over effective at times If the DRS had not made some moves too easy I would have given it a 9. |

For F1? An 8. Lots of passing and action, even if it does have to be somewhat fabricated. Would have been better if Vettel didn't just hover out in front more or less the whole race.

In the contexts of this season, a 6. Was entertaining in places, but not gripping.
Last season it would have been an 8 or 9 though |
