Arriving at Le Mans on Friday?
Unfortunately due to unfortunate circumstances i will be arriving at Le Mans on Friday this year and camping in Beausejour.
In previous years i have made it on the wednesday, when the majority of people seem to arrive, by friday the campsite seem already packed! I am wondering if anyone else has experience of arriving for the weekend on Friday, is it easy/possible to get to the track, get your camping space, anything else i need to watch out for etc? Kind Regards for any knowledge information JB |

This would be better in the le mans forum, but would say that there will be some space in the campsite but it will be in less desired spots, when you get time there will still be plenty to do, you could stop at the classic british welcome on the way down, do an hour or so there and then get to the camp site and set up, and perhaps then get the tram to the parade in time for an early night (or not) and then an early start in time for the meet in the village on saturday for some cheese and a glass of something you will never forget.

Should be absolutely fine I'd have thought. No track sessions so you aren't going to struggle to get in. If you've got a camping ticket then you're entitled to a pitch. Might not be a prime one but you won't be the only one rocking up on Friday.

Can someone else on the forum who is in BSJ reserve you a space earlier in the week?

Thanks for the info gents,
Didn't see the Le Mans sub-forum so thanks also for getting this moved. Not too surprised there isn't many ten tenthers in BSJ, its not the campsite of choice, but needs must this year. The classic british welcome isn't something I have done before, so i will have to take this and the ten-tenths meet into consideration. |

No joke. You're banned from Le Mans for life if you don't go to the meet.......
