jaguar e type lightweight
for all those in the uk just a quick heads up that at 9 tonight channel 4 is showing a programme on the lightweight project, 6 cars being built to complete the last racing e types, i think people might enjoy it, for those abroad i am sure it will be down loadable soon after it is shown. program is called "inside Jaguar, making a million pound car"

Found it pretty interesting actually. A car that has so much history. But at the same time no history.

yes they had a few of them on the programme, but the detail the cars were built to obviously was as they were done by jaguar in the original cars but with detail that was certainly not used when the original ones were thrown together. The programmme also ointed out that as the originals become to expensive to ever race these cars will effectively ensure lightweights will still be raced in classic races for many years to come.
