DTM,ETC,BTCC oz coverage
i heard from a mate with links to channel 7 that they are willing to show highlights of the DTM, ETCC and BTCC if they receive enough interest from everyone. Aparently they would show them mid-week, sepaerate from TOCA telecasts in the nighttime, better than nothing i suppose, so everyone email, ring write and so on.

Hmm...still, someone would have to pay for it. TOCA still had to pay 7 a sack full of cash for their midnight time slot...

Crazy isn't it, the networks should be paying the promoter's for the right to show the event. Hey it's not an ad break! Or perhaps, it just doesn't rate, and that should tell the promoter's something, shouldn't it?

We have the same trouble over here - no coverage at all of V8's... please get your act together V8 people!
 Or maybe they're happy with the series being seen as a series which is only of interest inside Australia ?

They're actually very keen to expand into Asia. They thought about taking the series to Europe and dismissed the idea very quickly.

Agreed. It'd never work over here as we've discussed many, many times. However... TV coverage *would* work! I can't believe it's not even tucked away on some slot filling highlights program on cable somewhere...

i got foxtel and the only thing we got on it is American Touring Cars and BTCC, no DTM or ETC
