18th September last round

Four more weeks untill the last round of the NW Championship this season seems to have flown over much to quick.
At least we are on Fosters my favorite bit of track. How about an end of season drink for the marshals and BRSCC boys and girls to thank them for all the hard work and dedication they have showed for this year and in the past.

Thanks James.
Very much appreciated.
Is this Free Entry for the winner of the Post86 race, the winner of the Pre87 race, or BOTH winners?

Should really be both winners as there is no overall winner, they are separate races and to discriminate would be unfair. I myself have a discounted entry due to my fortune in the Anglesey draw.

Ah but that is for NW at Oulton, not the WHT.

But Ray, I suggest you do the Walter Hayes Trophy meeting at Silverstone as well. Very good track time for very little entry fee. Probably 3 or 4 races plus cheap testing. Let's inflict the UCLan students on Northamptonshire. "Have it"

Yes i know the money was for Oulton, but money saved is money left to spend. We have already decided to do Walter Hayes and will be out for a first test at Silverstone in a couple of weeks time. I hope Dave will do it as well as its great to have a team mate and Dave and his dad are sound people.

NW FF1600 - The End is Near

Please humour me and sing the first four lines of my little ditty [to the tune of My Way]

And now - the end is near - we've had our fill - a super season
My friends - we will be back - I have no doubts - I hear you cheerin'
Before - we have to go - we've one more round - which is so pleasin'.
So come over to - the Moose Unit - and get your teas in.

Feel free to reply in rhyme.
So September 18th at Oulton, I'll see you there.

I just typed an eleven line reply as to why I can't go to Oulton but 'the editor' seems to have lost it for me and I can't be bothered to write it all again. Suffice to say 4 weeks running is not a good idea as far as the current Mrs M is concerned. In fact, she gets ****ed off at one week running...

Croft? Don't know. I can only think as far as Combe this weekend coming, Rockingham the next and Mallory the one after.
In fact, Brands does attract for the 18th/19th.
Then I want to do the F4 Cadwell double header on 26th and the week after that it's The Rock again then the next week it's Rockingham for FF1600 then the Brands Festival is the week after that.
Hmmm...

Looks like Croft's out, probably miss the two Brands and Cadwell too. Rockingham FF1600???

I forgot I've already promised to do the BARC Single-seaters at Stowe on the 23rd Oct - the week after the Festival. the n the Walter Hayes and I'm not going to miss that.
