Kai Allen looks set to take a DJR drive in 2025. But who does he replace? Does Davison get pushed out or De Pasquale go looking for another drive?

Surely thats an easy answer. DP is future investment compared to WD and age goes against Will. Co-Driver duties in the future I would think.

They invested in ADP four years ago and where has he gotten them? Davison has level pegged him and not been outshone at all.

Davo is only early 40s so hardly retirement time.

I reckon DJR will clean house and have Allen and someone else new next year.

I think it is important to more that Will Davo was very flattered by the pre adjustment Mustang performance that had mid pack runners all up the front.

Agree, I had high expectations of Anton but he's been mostly a letdown. DJR has been struggling as well, that's true and possibly Anton would get better results in better machinery but on the other hand he's not even a clear number one at DJR. Pretty disappointing.

With both drivers out of contracts at the end of 2024, I wonder if DJR will be trying to get Kostecki...

DJR have in total, failed since the loss of Penske, however the future is ADP moreso that WD (based on his age)

Just my thoughts. right or wrong

Is there a rumor of Penske coming back? When Penske pulled out he must have left a big hole? as DJR dropped like a stone. Maybe the good Doctor can show us how smart he really is and turn the ship now he is back?

In the early rounds in 2023 DJRs cars were terrible, when we saw their cars running at the back of the pack with their ass ends on the deck. The other Ford teams must have dropped their heads. The homologations team being completely in no man's land with a crazy out of your tiny mind setup in their cars. That told the paddock that they were completely lost and out to lunch. The other Ford teams would have though "what the **** have we got"?

I was thinking of ADP last weekend. The young up and coming driver who was hoping to be the next big thing, is now looking at being moved past by a group of younger drivers in better teams. Things have not panned out anything like they did for Scotty. Scott is a lucky boy, Anton not so much. Scott got a big break and was able the build on that with his talent, Anton has got a lemon. It will be interesting what pans out.

You are sooooooo negative, the new engine is so powerful that they've had to put a restrictor in it so that the camaro will be able to compete.

DJR needs all the engine they can get their hands on. They are the restrictor.

You obviously haven't read the latest reports, they were told by supercars to reduce the power of the new engine and the easy fix was a restrictor plate.

Surely the future is Allen teamed with an established lead driver?

ADP has had his chance to be the future of DJR had hasn’t delivered in four years

So which seats are up for grabs at years end

Fords

19 - Payne (lock)
26 - Stanaway / Anton

17 - Allen
11 - Brodie/Waters

6 - Brodie/Waters
56 - Randle ?

25 - Mostert
2 - wood
No change

3 - Love
7 - Courtney ? Davison ?

Chevs
Maybe static, seats up for grabs

23 - slade ? ADP ?
99 - hazelwood ?

I think Brodie holds the keys, DJR?
Given his Coke relationship, Tickford could be a logical home and I think Cam really needs a fresh start. Perhaps spearheading the DJR revival.

seats on the Chev side look more limited with 888 MSR T18 steady. Premiair could be compelling. Who the fk would want to drive for Betty and Barry now?

Interesting times.
