FPRXR-6 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Dave Ward also to leave FPR

In today's AA it says that Dave Ward is not happy about how things are run at FPR and will stay on until the end of this month to oversee the build of Bright's new car and preparations for the Clipsal 500.
Ward will be heading to another V8 team.

FPR are a joke!

Seto only had 8 or so people working for him.. There is a good 30-40 people working for FPR so you can't blame GSR!!!!

Maybe all this change might just turn out to be a good thing in the long run...

Hmmm...
Dead wood gone and still going, and some newer guys liek Benson and Keed on board - And i think the results are beckoning - that qually lap at the AGP was fast stuff.

Just need to get the long term grip issues sorted out for race days!

Not trying to Blame the old GSR boys.
I was just wondering how a former championship winning team could completely lose the plot.
Maybe because it wasn't the old team.

So you is actually to blame for the problems at FPR? All I hear on here is that Dave Richards should take the blame... the drivers aren't, the engineers aren't, the lower level management aren't... maybe someone should realise that since FPR have fired some of the ex GSR dead wood they have definatley made progress...

But Dave Ward only just joined, was he manager of that sports car mob in the UK which were responding for running a couple of the Audi R8 prototyes at Le Mans? Plus Russel was not from GSR, but from Williams?

Word has it that a lot of the crew are not happy and that the hiring of one of the current drivers is a bone of contention with a lot of people. More will leave sooner than later.

Yeah, he wasn't the most popular new addition to Compbellfield was he?

And yes, Dave Ward was ex-Veloqx UK and has quite a high regard amongst his peers.

Interesting that the V8Supercar circus has found a home for Mr Ward... as Technical Director at PWR.....

Pssst Chucky - no one is listening, why all the innuendo ? Who are you talking about or if that is way too direct, who aren't you talking about?

Honestly, when does the creche re-open, or is it a nursing home !!!!

I think Chucky is referring to the fact that Jason Bright is receiving so much money to drive one of the FPR cars. Salaries in Australia are starting to get a tad out of hand - especially driver salaries. It's a bit of a worry!

Why oh why doesn't he say so? Chucky it is not a cryptic crossword !!!

Yep I agree, there are lots of talented punters who would drive for peanuts.

That was a pretty direct quote from me! I'm not sure I could've made that anymore direct.

I said what I meant, his move to FPR wasn't greeted with universal smiles and rejoicing.

Cavvy, if you want me to use smaller words then just say so.

FPR seems to have its own culture... resistant to anything remotely European... well unless DR is around anyway

I should imagine the more serene surroundings at PWR will be more to Mr Ward's liking
