It would be good to see some dates for 2006. Most other Championships have dates sorted by now.

From what I have heard it will be -

4 Oulton Park
2 Anglesey (both double headers)
1 Donington (double header)

I would hope that those who suffered the damage to electrical equipment at the last Croft meeting due to faulty on site generators are adequately compensated before the circuit is considered for a NW 1600 round again.

A guy from BRSCCNW has said that the calendar is released at the Autosport show. Not sure if its on the thursday or other day, hopefully it will be.

That'll be good to go to Donny'. the two double Ang weekends suits me perfectly!!

Should be a crackin' year.

That doesn't mean anything though. How many times have we had the calender at the Show only for it to change within the month.

We'll see eh....

Club Formula Ford (NW)
Events 2006 Dates
1 Apr-01 Oulton Park
2 May-27 Oulton Park
3 & 4 Jun-24 Oulton Park - double header
5 Jul-29 Oulton Park
6 & 7 Aug-19 Aug-20 Anglesey - double header
8 Sep-23 Oulton Park
9 07-Oct Oulton Park

So no Croft or Donington and only one Anglesey.....Is that a good thing or bad thing?

Only 9 rounds?

At least there is only 2 date clashes with F4 so I can get to watch most of the races.

It kinda makes little point testing at Anglesey in February, now that the dates are there.

Might as well wait until mid to late July.

The e-mail we recieved does say that these are PROVISIONAL which would suggest that they are still playing around with the dates a bit.?

How many rounds usually make up the NWFF championship?.....I can't be bothered looking it up......can ya tell?

It varies year on year to some extent. I personally expect one round to be added to the North West, in between rounds one and (what is at present) two.

Surprised nobody has picked up on the fact that both championship finals clash with the Combe Carnival.

Anglesey thing - all of the calendars I have seen for anything so far indicate just one BRSCC date there this year. Lee, you could still do the February test ahead of the ACC races there in March.

Good point Ian. I guess the BRSCC maybe trying to dent the Combe carnival. Although saying that not many "away" Championships travel to the Combe Carnival anyway although it is a good event. They make you feel very welcome
