DJR Announce Driver Pairings - Go For Safety

Dick Johnson Racing has announced their driver pairing and look like they are going for safety (assuming the car finishes that is).

Radisich and Johnson in the 17 car, whilst Ritter and Jones in the 18 car.

That's a shame, it would have been good to see both drivers going for the championship...

...oh hang on! Nobody else is a chance!

Come on, who wants to slip me a fiver to throw rocks at car 1 at the 500?

Probably no one because no one really cares any more - the championship has gone out of the Championship...

At least if they had paired Ritter & Radisich and Johnson & Jones, each car would have drivers with surnames begining with the same letter (because that makes a HUGE difference when it comes to going quick around Bathurst )

Not only that but each car would have benefitted from having similar weighted drivers and thus could be set up accordingly ie. heavier springs on the right hand side of #17

Yeah, J & J could have harped on the fact that Steven is just out of them while Dick is close to going back into them!
