Gene would have to be pleased with that lap.

seems like a damn competitive lap for Gene. Although of course, it really does look very good because of the competition around him - all Jordans and Minardi's doesnt quite do it justice.......yet

Great lap from Fisi, that could set him up pretty well.

well, actually, fisi came pretty close to Marc - just over 1 second off. Fuel pending though....but it seemed pretty quick. Does anyone think they will get into the 1:20's?
Coulthard should be a good comparison - Natrually he will be soon. |

The big problem with DC is he seems to struggle with these one lap qualifiers.

I think that time might just get Marc onto the second row - what do you guys think?

Quite possible Valve, it was a damn good lap and if he can get between Montoya and at least one of the Ferrari's that'd be great.

Should do, it was a good lap from Gene.
DC not too fast, but could be good for that car. |

Second for DC.
Second row - Probably for Gene. Although of course, Williams can pretty much take as many risks as they want with Gene. But i spose they need him to subtly help JPM |

A 1.22.471 isn't good enough from DC & still leaves Gene at the top.

There must be more fuel in these cars than 1st practice, so that makes Marc's time quite remarkable if you check the 1st practice times.

7th or 8th for DC would be my prediction.
