Slightly off topic I know, but I think u might find this page of intrest. http://www.grandprixlegends.com/page...G_B_I_CDSounds Also on the Le Mans 2002 DVD review there ist a section with the noise of the cars at night time which is very impressive.

As some of you will know, I drive Grand Prix Legends, er, quite a lot. There are some good sounds which are in wav format for use in the sim.
This is one of the main source sites. http://grandprixsounds.m4driving.sm/ If you scroll to the bottom there are some great mp3s as well. (BTW - there are some sportscar mp3s there as well, including P4, 917, Matra, 333SP etc. etc.). Last edited by Aysedasi; 28 Jul 2003 at 19:43. |

If you want the sound of some late 60's Grand Prix machinery, listen to this recording of the '67 BRM (yes, Ayse, i know i posted this in AE)

As for sportscars, i don't know where recordings of it can be found (if at all), but the 1969 Ferrari 712 sounds pretty fabulous (a huge understatement).
It was built for Can-Am, and has an 850bhp 7 litre V12 in the back. |
