Remember Stefan Bellof

Today is Stefan Bellof's birthday. I would just like everyone to remember him. He was probably the most talented driver who never claimed a victory in Formula 1.

I don't think they came any braver then Bellof, that's for sure! It's a shame that he didn't get a better F1 ride for 1985. Imagine what would have happened if Ferrari would have fired Arnoux after the 84 season, rather then after the 85 Brazilian GP. What if Stefan would have landed the Ferrari seat alongside Alboreto? 1 think for sure, you know he would have not been allowed to race WEC.....

The 1983 WEC Race at the Nordschleife remains as one of the best stories of the last 100 years in racing thanks to Stefan Bellof. He was trully a special driver!

Very talented, very brave.

Sadly it was probably that bravery which killed him.

A brilliant driver, for sure, which makes it so sad he never got the chance to fully show what he could do.

I met Stefan when he was Crompton Driver of the day at the F2 meeting at Silverstone. A pleasure to talk to and greatly missed.
