Walter Hayes Trophy Chat
We're planning to have an official live chat session previewing the Walter Hayes Trophy and talking about all things FF1600 in the 10 Tenths chatroom next Wednesday, November 3, at 8pm GMT.
All will be welcome. To enter the chat room click on the 'chat room' link above. Either Asp or Wensleydale will post further technical details soon. Although we have set aside a dedicated time for this special chat, the room is always open for motorsport discussion! |

Not much to add on the technical front other than the chat will be held in #motorsport, accessible either by clicking the "join in" link, or using your own client (See this post for information on setting up your own clients).
As always, please use your 10/10ths nicks so we know who you are, and if you have any questions or problems feel free to send me a pm Wens |

At the moment this is only a preview chat for the Walter Hayes Trophy. However, feel free to come and join us at anytime, there's usually someone in who will be happy to talk FF1600.

If time permits, I will join in this web chat and you can ask questions of the organiser. If I can't make it, you'll have to ask me at the WHT Forum in the BRDC Clubhouse on Saturday evening at 7pm - don't miss it !

I will have to ask the powers that be at the track. I like the idea - I will let you know tomorrow.

At the Nurburgring Taxis take you on a hot lap around the old track in a BMW M5. Imagine gettting in one of those by mistake after the Pub

ok, just a quick reminder before the main event, you can access the chatroom in the following ways:
1) via the chatroom link at the top of this pages, then click "Join In". 2) Via the link on parcferme (this requires Java, and may not work for everyone) 3) With your own client, you need to use the server "irc.phishy.net", port "6667" channel "#motorsport" any trouble connecting through any of these methods, please send me a pm. The chat is now over tonight but it was such a great success we plan to hold a WHT review chat at the same time next Wednesday.
Thanks to goughy, jminsh, jnrjnr, JohnMiller, darcym and everyone else who ventured in tonight. Sadly, Redracer77 was washing his hair. |

i'd also like to thank all those who came to visit for such a great chat session. For those of you who couldn't make it, a full log of events has been made available on the chatroom minisite. http://www.motorsport.alrob.com/logs.htm
I hope the review chat is an even greater success. Wens Last edited by wensleydale; 3 Nov 2004 at 23:07. |

I only made a fleeting appearance late on, but if you look at the above minisite, you'll notice that some urchin intimated your absence was because you were doing your hair.;p |

If I'd been in the chat room at the time, I would have severely chastised them. But at least you scored higher than the Combe lot.
Also mentioned was the unavailability of your Ray for hire this weekend. They appeared to think it was already hired out. Is it? and if so to whom. |
