Can McLaren pull off a surprise today?
Just a thought, but apparently a 3 stop stratergy is 10 seconds faster than a 2 stopper. (computer predictions). McLaren are reportedly on the softer Michelin tyre, whereas Williams are on the harder Michelin and Ferrari are on the harder Bridgestone. If Kimi (as he's 4th on the grid) gets a very good start over the others could this work?
If Williams and Ferrari are on 2 stoppers and get a better start to the McLarens on 3 stops then the Mac's might be screwed, all depends on the start! |

possibly but as the god of F1 commentating used to say,
"anything can happen in Formula 1 and it usually does" it could be the case that Irvine wins - you can never know. |
