2009 V8SCFC: Round 4 Symmons Plains
And in Round Four of the 2009 V8GoKart series.... Top Ten
West Surrey Racing proved to be the most adept team at playing dodgem cars in near-freezing conditions with a comfortable win over Holly Wood Enterprises. Total Kaos Racing charged into third, while B.O.R.I.N.G. continued their good run on islands, finishing just ahead of the pack. Congrats to sharp-elbowed drivers Fabian Coulthard, Russell Ingall, and Tim Slade! Hard Charger Award Following the recent trend, round winner West Surrey Racing have also claimed the Hard Charger, blitzing the field with an 18 place gain. Next best (Total Kaos Racing, BF&I Racing, and All-American Racers) could only put away 8. Biggest Loser Award Repeatedly finding themselves backwards, sideways, or beached at the hairpin were 101 Racing, who slid 14 places to secure their second Biggest Loser in only four rounds. Also bringing up the rear were Team Sheepshagger, who dropped another 10 places while the team owner continued to enjoy the rural scenery instead. Standings:
L&P World Famous Racing and Team Tiger Racing have maintained their lead at the front, with Holly Wood Enterprises just nudging into third ahead of Australian Motorsports, JJR Motorsport, and Eagle Motorsport. The Gang have slipped a bit, and now lie 100 points behind the three 4th-placed teams. |

Well Team Liquid Motorsport is already putting this year down to experience (a bad one ) and looking to next season.
We might take a leaf out of Richmond's book and SWING THE AXE!!! Stay tuned. |
