Bathurst! - Who is going??
OK. A mate of mine has a flat with floor space as he is doing a locum stint in the town around the race weekend. He is not a bad guy for a Porche owner!
What about the rest of you degenerates! Who is up for some colour, noise and copious amounts of beer? C'mon Shane, get amongst it! |

Hey Steve,
being a moderator and all, i thought you would have know that this belongs in the trackside section. I wont be there, i am going away for the weekend. To many drunken idiots around town making too much noise, and making a mess of the town. No wait, on second thoughts i will be there, if you stand in my back yard you can see the top of the mountain, but you need good binoculors to make anything out. And before anyone asks, i dont have any spare room in my house, paying mates have aleady got it booked. But there is always the backyard. BTW, since when did you have mates moff |

I can't wait!
Gonna be making the pilgrimage across the Tasman again to see the great race. It will be the start of my holidays that end after the Gold Coast Indy. |

Apparently I'm a uni student and apparently I have priorities...blast
I don't think I'll be abel to make it unless someone comes up with a plane ticket, also with things like Indy etc just around the corner, I need as much spare time as I can get. Anyways, party on people! |

I don't live *too* far from Bathurst, so will be driving up and back at least two of the four days Moff, are you actually going? if so, maybe as it gets closer, we can exchange mobile numbers or something and maybe meet up to say g'day |

Have fun folks. I'll be watching it on TV. I don't go to V8 Baturst 1000, way too feral for me.
In fact, now that i have a trailer and tow car I can't see the point in travelling to a race meeting, just to watch. I'm using up all my leave allocation travelling to Oran Park and Eastern Creek to compete. Though, if Historic Touring Cars were on the Bathurst programme, i'd move the Earth to be there. |

I shall be venturing forth once to the west.
Actually, last year wasn't so bad for the drunks, I think the mud not only slowed em down but it muffled their noise it was that deep in some places. |

Days of Mud and Alcohol
Well I'm a definite starter this year. And looking forward to good ride down there as well. Mount, what's your address, are you having that party on the Saturday night? Don't worry, I won't invite many people.

So...
Who is a starter. Let's think of a day, a time and a place to meet. There is Mount, Accee and Tickfordchick, probably Alan Jones. No not the real one, and me. Any others?? I'm in attendence from Friday to Sunday. |
