Monstrobolaxa should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
LMP3 torsional stiffness

Well I'm finishing a preliminary LMP3 chassis and will FEA test it in a few days!

Now does anyone know or have information on the torsional stiffness of any LMP3/Group CN cars? And if the info is from a space frame chassis it wouls be great! I need the info so I can set a baseline value from where I can start optimizing.

Earlier spaceframe chassis in F1 where around 1500 Nm/deg...acording to what I've found!

Well, I dont realy know what to say here. It is a littel depending on what ypu are doing. Are you building a car, or is it some kind of study project?
1500Nm/dgr is just to compare with a wet dishcloth. Ok, I know that some earlier F1 cars where soft. Now, F1 cars with their high degree of downforce and ruels is something of its own. An LMP3 car is a light car therbey not in need of to high a twisting number. But for comparsion, my own Pantera was some 7000 Nm/dgr as for a starter, and I stiffened it to 20000Nm/dgr. And this is a 2400 pound car. Later LMP! cars is 35-40000Nm/dgr. Lets say that a LMP3 should be at least 10-15000Nm/dgr, using todays technology.

I must make a reservation for that I am not very experienced with LMP3 cars,
so other people might come up with a better answer.
