Peter Ford should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
V8S and foxtel

Just wondering if fox sports has a deal with channel 7 to replay all the races like they have been doing the last few years?,i forget about the races some time and i normally watch the replays on fox sports.

TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Intresting point Peter, but I have herd no mumblings out of both camps CH7 & VE$A about reply on fox, but with CH7 previous realationship with FOXTEL i have a gut feeling it will not happen.
Like you I also like watching the reply's during the following week.

Peter,
I can tell you categorically that Fox Sports will not be showing any of the V8's this year. Aussie Bernie wanted more money, but Fox Sports were going to get less coverage. Might happen next year, if the price is lowered.

I remember seeing in one of the motorsport press a few weeks ago that it was expected for VESA and Foxtel to come to an agreement. Heard nothing since except that Aussie Racers have signed a tv deal with Fox Sports.

However like Lowndesfan, the fox sports stickers were visible at testing

The stickers were on the cars at every launch, in the hope of a deal being reached. Aussie Bernie reckons that another Pay-Tv channel will take on the V8's. The only other one is ESPN, but they dont any Aussie sports.

V8s would be a great start to ESPN adding Aussie sports (adding to their terrific Sportscenter and lacklustre PTI)

I quite like PTI. Cant see EPSN shelling out more than Fox Sports though.

Unconfirmed report I had this morning was that there won't be any V8Supercars on Foxtel this year....

Considering their is no V8Supercar programming in the March Foxtel guide, i'd say it is a confirmed report.

It just goes to show that Aussie Bernie will start to kill this sport with his greed.

But atleast they have an announcement saying that Foxtel will show AFL. Things are very quiet in terms of v8 deals

Going on the pic coming out of QLD every car that was testing had both CH7 an FOX Sports stickers on thier cars. PMM was the only car that did not have the FOX SPORT logo.

The reason that was, is that the Fox Sports deal was going ahead up until 2 weeks ago, when it fell apart. The teams still used the stickers supplied.
