Rod Birley should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Brands Truck Meeting

Just a quick thanks to all marshals and officials. Busy weekend lots of incidents, meant you did not get proper lunch breaks, but hope the racing made up for it. Plus it was a lot drier than last year. Really enjoyed my races with Greg, and your appreciation was well received by both of us. Good to see Bob Whiting on 24. The wins were for your Mum.

Thanks Rod, from all of us! Another entertaining race, and as I was at Paddock (Post 3 ); glad you went past in your inimitable manner each time. The whole Meeting was great, and, hell, what is a lunch hour when you can sun bathe in November!!!!

Cheers Rod. Some excellent racing in all categories and the sunshine helped to take my mind off the cold. Two great races with you and Greg, I could see you had the boost turned up from the flame back from the exhaust

I echo all the above, good grids, well manned posts, pre-gridding of the Legends/Pickups for their rolling starts saved us some work. Special thanks to all the FRenault teams for their co-operation whilst being formed up in the pitlane.

Overall what racing should be all about!!

Watching the two of you in your last race yesterday screaming up the hill to Druids inches apart lap after lap, along with the guy in the green Midget who seemed to be absolutely flying through the field from the back of the grid in the same race were definitely major highlights for me!

If only all races were that close, clean and exciting! I can't wait for more next season

Had a great day yesterday on Post 6, some of the racing was among the best I've seen all year (Legends and Pickups particularly). Watching the trucks on the run up to and out of Druids was spectacular - only one (young) spectator asked why we were't standing where we had been for the other races. "We're crazy, but not that crazy" was the most obvious answer! Nice to see such a big crowd there too, does anyone know what the final spectator count was?

Great meeting, some real good racing, bar Formula Boring on the Sunday. And no, I do not mean the Caterhams.

Trucks, great and awesome, but all that smoke!

Thanks Rod. Nice to see Greg kept you busy, though on Sunday, we on post 8 ended up busy clearing up the pieces from the guys behind you. Great variety of races, love the leg-ends, first time I've seen them. Pick-ups raced as close as ever and the lunatics in the trucks, well...... Thanks to BARC for another great weekend and thanks to all the crew on post 8.

Thought you'd like the legends as they have motorbike engines!

I too had a great weekend at post 4 and agree with ALL that has been said by all other contributers so far. However I would add one additional thankyou.
Having seen the condition of many of the cars involved in incidents, well done to the teams for getting them up and running again. The Legend teams did a great job and I certainly didnt expect to see the Clio that rolled back on the Sunday complete with windscreen.

I had a good meeting. My first as a marshal since August last year. I would like to thank the crew on Post 24 for making it easier for me as well as Rod and Kelly Jayne Wells. Everytime I looked into the Assembly Area I expect to see Mum contolling the drivers with her usual rod of iron. Thank you all for helping get through a tough weekend. See you at the night race at Brands

Fantastic meeting, great range of cars and i can't wait for the first Legend Festival to be devised.
Thanks to all on post 5 was a cracking season closer for Dee and I.
sunday was also a good goodbye day for Dave Payne (some of you might know him) hanging up his overalls after 35 years.
Roll on March the withdrawals start here
