I love the new livery on Davidson's BAR .....reminds me of the 1994 Lotus ( i think ) .. looks superb !. Hope Irvine doesnt pop up and take him out at the 1st chicane ?..lol

Hmm, half hour and most of the drivers made only the installation lap.. Ferrari didn't even bother to do that.

Is the time from Bas Leinders correct? I mean, it's 2 seconds faster than the other minardis!!!!!!!!!!! (who, btw, are almost 6 seconds slower than MS)

Its all about promotion and marketing at the end of the day and the fact that it has got people taking extra pictures and got people talking about it means it worked - regardless of the aesthetics.

It's a great one-off livery and creates a memorable talking point.

Cartainly looks pretty cool. Look at how small that little fella is.
Its a pity not all the BAR's are running with them. I suppose maybe they don't want to have all of the TV audience's seeing that livery, but those viewing photos will. |

There's a lot of engine-saving going on out there. They can gather perfectly usable data about set-ups without going full throttle on the straights - they already know everything there is to know about how fast the car will go in a straight line.

Although not as quick as the Ferrari in the first session. Where the conditions much different?
However Glen is right. I guess a few clicks at the end of the straight makes little difference, even to testing the braking. I guess each tried once or twice, but even if not the top speeds are impressive: Code:
