South Downs Stages Aug 14th Goodwood
The Phil Collings Memorial stages is set for Sat 14th Aug after a much delayed start with a strong entry as usual.

Entries for this were opened ages ago and rolled forwards - it filled up really quickly - by the time I got a chance to look it was already full with a long list of reserves, there's a chance the same applies to the Newtons. It's a good looking entry though

It will certainly be a bit novel running in the summer, makes a change from the normal freezing conditions in February!

Great day, more summer rallies please! Makes such a change in T shirts and shorts watching some superbly driven machinery. Really good to see the Darians fighting it out at the end and Paul King made a great effort wrestling back to third and a shout out to the Worsfolds in the indecently quick Fiesta(best lines of everyone) and the Holdings in their rapid Mini for class honours. Many thanks to everyone involved.

Really enjoyed the rally. Being able to sit and watch the cars whizzing around without the threat of hyperthermia setting in is a bonus of the summer date.
Another bonus is the next South Down stages is only 6 months away. |
