Mitsubishi in 2002 BTCC
Steve Wood will be driving a Mitsubishi Carisma in the BTCC, and there are plans for at least one more.

Excellent news, the more cars the better. I only hope there will be some Lexus' and Alfa's on the Touring grid (one can dream!)

And what about the Alfa's, wasn't someone going to run them.
On the Carisma, is that the same pink one that ran at the start of last year? |

The car (Carisma) Toni Roukenen drove you mean? GR, who ran Ford Focus's for Howell and Shedden last year are supposed to be running the Alfa 147's but we've heard nothing of them. I hope they make the grid!!!

Rumours are flying that there will be no TMSR Lexus Team or Alfas all year, but i think that they just might come in the season a bit later.

That would be Touring class... It would be a shame if they didn't make it - they certainly were the best lookers last year...

The Carisma will be in the production division, not with the Tourers.

I'd say the Alfas are 50/50 at the moment judging by RW's comments this morning... though the Lexus team seem dead and buried unfortunately. They didn't rate a single mention...

I know the Alfa's appearing depends on one thing getting sorted.

Why has the Lexus deal suddenly come crashing down?
