Formula Vee History 1969 Europe
I am looking to trace more information about Colin Benson and the Psycho Formula Vee car that he raced in the Western or Central Zone European Formula Vee Cup in 1969. I have a picture of the car and information that he retired on lap1 from the race at The Nurburgring, on 13th Oct 1969. Colin Benson had previously raced a Beach and was 3rd in the first Formula Vee race to be held in the UK in 1967.
My interest is due to the fact that I am restoring a late 60s Formula Vee car that was thought to be a Beach with non Beach bodywork. However on seeing the picture of the Psycho, I believe that could be the car. |
