clio arrive and drive

erm... anyone know of a team who can do a one off race deal for Silverstone for the Clio Cup?
...I'm a very experienced and very careful Clio driver (honest)
...apart from the couple of written off 172's and v6's...
ok... so I'll insure it then.
cheers
Paul

Yay! Paul back in a Clio??!

Seriously mate, yes, I believe there were cars with 'you can drive this car' notices on at the last round at Brands. Can't help with names though I'm afraid. But I'm sure the series organisers can help.

Paul darling - don't forget the Renault 5 Turbo!

Found you a car - team say you need to speak to Simon North first to see if a one off without full registration is acceptable.

Herr North wants the full £10k registration for any driver joining the series even for just 1 round... and they wonder why he only has 18 cars out...
Mr Sugden wanted £8k for a one-off in the Clio 172 but he was officially smoking something....
Why not come race in Europe? You can rent a brand new, very quick, 172 for Euro 5,000 (plus insurance if you want) and come play on a real track (Donington, Spa, Monza or Estoril?). Entry fees are Euro 500 but if you finish 75% of the laps you win that back. Think there's another Euro 300 for a partial entry to the series but thats all your costs. Alternatively, if you want to bring back the memories... rent a V6 for Donny for Euro 8,500...

Hi Paul,

we (SRE Motorport Ltd) have got 2 cars still available and are aiming to be out later in the year.
Got one of Firstairs cars etc.

Log onto sremotorsport.co.uk and give us a bell - might have a solution to the registration problem too..
