With not a lot happening I thought you all might be intrested in an article in The Sun one of our national papers.
Quote:
The article is mainly about him giving 120 of the Ferrari staff a £1000 watch each for Christmas which I haven't heard any other driver do The bit I liked best was what Ross Brawn had to say Quote:
(wait a minute I'm sure I saw Will Smith looking at his picture on that screen in Men In Black full of Aliens ) If you want to read the full article it is on their website |

Just goes to show you how far those guys have moved - physically, mentally, spiritually and literally - from the common run of humanity that stump up two months' pay to watch them parade around a track in a disposable $Zillion dollar RC car.
That kind of thing is either a fawning ploy to get invited to Michael's next party, or just plain silly. |

I'm just stunned that he has a place in Norway.
What does he drive there, an old Volvo Amazon? |

Its no doubt that Herr Schumacher can afford the best and most expensive toys, but I do think that his family life is what keeps him grounded away from the circuit.
With all the money and fame comes a ****load of responsibility, scrutiny and prying from fans and press alike. There is not one among us who wouldn't have some nice consumer goods if given the opportunity. At least he has not complained of being enslaved like the current crop of NBA superstars in America. |

I think he deserves it all. He's worked almost to the point of sweating blood to bring Ferrari the title.

I think that he has every right to have whatever he wants because, let's face it, he can afford it.
But what got me was the statement that he keeps life normal and that his tastes are simple. |

Hehe, got it! Some flexibility built in there. Finally, something to call him other than 'spoonface' |
