It was a 60 minute, pre-recorded show, so why did ITV decide to give us 4 ad breaks??

Wouldn't worry, Cazzer, you didn't miss a hell of a lot... though the closing shot of a quad bike in the mud at Silverstone did bring back a few memories and made me chuckle... seems like five minutes ago...!

It was nice to hear some thing positive about the drivers, they always seem to be getting slagged off in here, come to think about it F1 in general has had a bit of a rough time in here lately

Carrie, I can answer that for you. Yes, it was on yesterday on Granada. You didn't miss much...there were ads-a-plenty (what a surprise) and way too much of Jenson Button (complete with terrible little beard... ). And between them, TGF, Jean Todt and Ross Brawn almost managed to put me to sleep.
But if you do really want to see it, I taped it. So if you're really bothered, I could always post it to you. |

Thanks for the offer, but I'm really not that fussed about having missed it.
Hmm, beard, I think the less said about that the better |

You missed nothing - it was snoozeworthy. Most of it was Murray and Martin droning on about how wonderful Ferrari and McLaren are, plus how good Jenson is. Minardi got all of 3 seconds coverage, ditto half the grid. And did we really need all that coverage of celebrities going in the 2-seater McLaren???
Zzzzzzzzzzz. |

I thought it was absolute rubbish. We got no updates on how Montoya was getting on with life at Williams, no news from testing, nothing about Mika Hakkinen's new baby, nothing on Murray Walker's retirement either. This programme revealed nothing new on any topic in F1. What a disappointment. This programme has not done anything to convince me that ITV's currently shoddy, dire coverage will improve one iota next season.
We can expect the same botched non-European coverage, rush jobs to get off air after the race, Jim 'pillock' Rosenth-arse plugging football like he's soccer-obsessed, adverts ruining the continuity of the action, tape-delayed qualifying from non-European races (most likely Malaysia, Japan, Canada and the USA), incomplete coverage of the post-race press conference, more broken promises (remember the one they made about practice coverage being included?), the continued absence of 'Murray and Martin's F1 Special' and a downward trend in the duration of post- and pre-race coverage. These reasons and more besides have left me with no choice but to boycott ITV's coverage until things improve substantially. ITV, YOU ARE THE WEAKEST LINK, GOODBYE! |

M & M Show
Thought the show was quite poor, especially as some of it we'd already seen throughout the year. definately the weekest link, Goodbye again.
