In the Sunday Times' issue of New Year's Eve there's a report that Moscow Mayor Joseph Ordzhonikidze was the target of a vicious attack, in which his driver was fatally wounded, but he escaped with minor wounds.
Claims are linking this violent shooting in Moscow to the building of a new circuit, which involves Formula One constructor TWR. TWR, under its boss Tom Walkinshaw, signed a deal with city officials to help with the design and establishment of a circuit in the troubled country in a $180 million arrangement. The Sunday Times suggests that individuals became irascible when the plans were unveiled, because they were bidding to erect casinos and entertainment facilities on the same site as the circuit. It is not the first time Ordzhonikidze has been targeted by criminals – his assistant was also shot at early last year when gambling taxes were increased. |

There was three options for Russian circuit: Tula, Moscow and Sanct-Peterburg where Mr. Putin is from. The matter is that our President Putin doen't like Moscow Mayor Louzhkov and all his projects...
