Super Aguri's new (2007) car - any info?
Has there been anything posted about next year's Aguri? Are they clinging to the hopes of getting the '06 Honda or something else?
Just wondering. Mike oosp. wrong forum. |

They wont be able to get the '06 Honda, i wouldnt be surprised if its either another heavily updated Arrows so theyve got something to keep them going until 2008 when they can take a customer Honda chassis.

It'll be pretty much the same as the one they have now IMO.
There are only minor changes to the aero regs for next season,so only time spent in a wind tunnel will change what they have now. |

I think they'll get an old Honda and stivk "bits" on it so it doesn't look quite so similar.

I thought Super Aguri was just another way for the FIA to slow down the cars.

Well i havent seen ITV claim that, i have seen Berger say he intends to use a bespoke chassis next year however.
Remember the only reason STR got away with using the RBR1 was because Red Bull didnt actually build the car, Jaguar did as the R6 in their final days. The RBR2 was the first design under the new ownership. |

Well Brundle would be one to know, but that doesnt make it plausible.
There were plenty of rumours saying Super Aguri wanted the BAR 007 from last year but they persisted with a 4 year old Arrows. Its a carbon copy to what people are speculating STR and SA might try for next year. |
