Monte Carlo - changes for 2008!

Interesting to see that the Monte is bringing back some real rallying (details on Crash net). For next year 2008 it is planned to have:

- FOUR days of 'proper' special stages
- Two proper stages over Turini and the bulk of stages in classic Ardeche region
- Three night stages
- No mickey mouse superspecials!

What do people think about this? Could real rallying return elsewhere in the WRC too??

if this is correct then it would be very nice news. lets hope some more rallys like GB follow suit (maybe rally GB could leave wales eh!)

i doubt the WRC will go back to doing the 3/4 days (can't remember which) event of GB. day 1 started in scotland and back to kielder, day 2 down towards dolby / staindale etc? day 3 wasn't it sherwood with the opening stage at clumberr, and somewhere else then on to wales for day 4?
