Group C/GTP

Hello,

Seen the article on Planet LeMans, about the "new" season and entry list for Monza. Is there a season calendar for this anywhere?

cheers

the Silverstone weekend... is that something of a special event? as in support races etc...? Don't know if I can make Silverstone but I'll at least try, and definitely do my best to get to Donington.

I saw these kinda cars when they had a support race on the F3/GT/BTCC superweekend in late 2002 - didn't see the whole race because it was very early in the morning, was just getting into the circuit, but I liked what I saw and went and had a photograph taken of myself with one of the cars.

I'd like to see these as everyone likes to see a bit of history - this is an era I didn't witness, so I'd like to get to know what all the fuss was about!

What are the support races for the UK events.

I'll definately go to Donnigton and possibly Silverstone.

Is the Brands event on the same weekend as the Belcar race?

If not who will support Belcar?

What are the supports for Silverstone.

Is it an historic event.

The 2001 (or was it 2002) Historic festival was superb with the 2 hour Group C race on a Saturday night.

Theres a great preview for the first Monza race here:-

http://www.planetlemans.com/index.ph...d=945&Itemid=2

Can we expect more cars for the UK rounds, another Nissan and a few more Jaguars perhaps? What about the Aston AMR1?

BTW have the organisers decided to allow 3.5l atmo cars in the series now.

That would allow the Nissan 3.5 car to race, and hopefully an XJR-14 or 905!

Well the 3.5 Nissan is currently being prepared, an early 905 is apparently in the hands of a customer and a couple of XJR-14s, maybe built up from spare tubs, are also in the hands of customers.

I never thought I'd see an XJR-16 or XJR-12D out there, but they are.
