Peter Brock in Nations Cup Monaro at the Grand Prix
So Brock will be driving the GRM Monaro at the Grand Prix, any word on the Team Brock Monaro rumoured for Nations Cup this year.
27 NC cars on the entry list for the GP races is a very good line-up, 32 in all including the 5 GT-Performance cars. How many are there for the GP publicity only and not the championship though, time will tell. Good to see the Morgan Viper in there, along with French and Russell in the other 2 Vipers, TLA have a TBA for the Diablo, (what happened to Stokell), a pair of Ferrari 360GT's, the Cirtek GT3RS, maybe a second (if that is who the #23 entry is from). Provided they have got the parity right it doesn't look as bad as feared. Unfortunatly apparently none of the races will be shown, not even the Saturday one. Channel 10's doing i suppose Entry list on www.procar.com.au Last edited by racer69; 9 Feb 2003 at 04:01. |

If Hillier produce a 2door of the BA which Im sure they will do given their recent history and then Ford fit the engine out of that burnout Mustang they built (I think it was a 7.0L V10) then they could take them on in Nation Cup
Id like to see that Last edited by mixxer; 9 Feb 2003 at 13:19. |

Even as a fan of the King I am getting a little sick of these comebacks.

Really he hasn't ever actually retired i reckon. He has done something competitive each year since the 'retirement' at the end of 1997.

He actually said he was retiring from professional (Full Time) Driving, he never said he wouldnt race again and in that year he even gave interviews stating that he would probably race selected races. So yes he retired from full time racing and if you look at what he is saying now it is that he is having fun. Gee i think more drivers need to have fun.

I see nothing wrong with Brock racing as it will bring more attention to the Nations Cup race at Albert Park & as Brock was my idol when i was growing up i certainly won't mind watching him go around again.

Also he is planning on running in this years 24 hours, right ? SO some laps in now competively will only do good for the big race at the end of this year.
