Raven should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
He's German, 19, won last years German Formula Renault championship. Don't know what he's doing this year.

On a side note, it's a shame not to see Justin Wilson getting any more F1 tests, don't know what his plans for 2002 are either.

Yeah, I'd never heard of him before either, but he looks a bit impressive. On his second day in an f1 car he was nearly two seconds quicker than Sato, and a handful of tenths behind Fisi. Not bad!

Remember all... its just testing. Sato was on a full race setup and race distance so don't read anything into the times...

marcel lasse

ive never heard of him either but also think its impressive. kimi came from frenault and look at him. that a big jump in power, about 650 at least. as for sato, he had a great season in f3 but we all know why he REALLY got the job. justin's f3000 performances were far better, close to DOUBLING both teamate and f1 temp tomas enge and 2002 minardi driver mark weeber's point totals. so whats if he's 6'3 give hima drive.

err, because he's a good driver, he's not European though so maybe it's confused you, but yes he's really good. I suspect they were also looking for a driver who was more interested in driving than *****ing about his team-mate.

I know Marcel Lasee. He did some Formula Reanult Eurocup races last year and was a pretty good driver.

Hi there, this is my first post in your Forum. I am a Formula1-maniac from Germany. [No, not only a schumi-fan)

You want to know some infos about Marcel Lasee? O.K. here they are:

age 19
born in Düsseldorf/Germany
1998 german Kart Champion
1999 german Formel Ford Champion
2001 german Formel Renault Champion
2002 in the german Formel 3

But still nobody knows him. The Jordan team wrote his name at his overall totally wrong!
There is a pic where you can see it.
