Lloyd.L should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Looking for 1973 to 76 group 1/ production saloon photos please.

Hello, I am looking for photos of the cars I used to work on in the 1970s as references for models I am making. The cars in question are:

BMW 3.0si of Tony Lanfranchi and Roger Bell

BMW 3.0csi of Tony Lanfranchi.

Toyota Celica 1600GT and any of the group 2 Mazdas of John Markey.

Any of Wendy Markey's cars.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards, Lloyd

Hi Lloyd
PM me your e-mail address and I'll e-mail you copies of Tony's BMW and Wendy's RX3.

Sorry all, have just checked my original post and need to correct something. The second BMW of Tony Lanfranchi should read CSL, it was the year after the CSi.

BMW`s

Sorry but I did mean to ask also where would be the best place to find photos from the prod saloon races in 1972?
My main interest is in the BMW`s that were being raced at that time.
Regards alex

They were run by Peter Wallace and Stuart Mathieson at Mathwall Engineering, on the Silverlake Industrial Estate in Woking then latterly at Thursley.

I worked for Richard Lloyd and we converted his Group 1 Camaro to Group 2 spec in winter of 72.
