Michael Bentwood

I see, for the second meeting in a row, there was some very dubious driving from Mr Bentwood. After his 'amateurs' outburst earlier in the year I have to say I'm surprised at him...

Andy Metcalf should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Michael Bentwood

Perhaps he was just having fun like so many of them seemed to be doing on Sunday.

I understand that Michael has been fined and been given points after his move on Luke in the first race. I'm also told that he was heard threatening both Luke and Alan after the first race, the phrase "sore loser" comes to mind. I'm really pleased that Barwell swept the board in the Production Championship, they are a great team with two talented drivers I hope we see them all back in 2004.

me thinks someone saw second place just drifting away....

To threaten Alan and Luke was not on at all.

I agree with Les and Claire any driver caught threatening another driver should not be tollerated, any he had one problem he had to catch them first but he didn't and Alan won the first race and secured second in the Production championship a job well done and a perfect result to end a perfect year.

If you can't beat them, join them?

Surely that makes him an amateur too then? I thought he was supposed to be above making mistakes?

Talking to him earlier in the year I took him to be a very calm sort of guy. I wonder if the frustration over the rev-limiter etc got the better of him as the season progressed. But as we have seen even works drivers let off steam sometimes.

i don't think that it is fair for him to complain about being knocked off the track when he goes and knocks other folk off of the track.
