Deletraz. Was 10 laps down in Adelaide '94 before he retired. Absolute patheticness.
However, the others on the list do run him close in one way or the other, in lack of speed, ineptitude or the amount of money they pay for a seat. |

Rosset.... if only for his attempt at spinning his car at monaco, and beautifully parking it between the guard rails!

I nominate Domenico Sciattarella for Monaco '95
Given a $20,000 fine in qualifyin after driving the wrong way around the circuit after he couldn't spin-turn his car around. Eventually qualifies 19th - nearly six seconds off pole. Involved in a collision at the first corner, and then is unable to make the restart when his car falls off the recovery truck! |

I'm guessing though that if we look a bit further back to the 50's or 60's we're going to find someone who makes any of those guys look in the Senna class.....

"New Poll - Which member has the highest % of their posts as new threads or Polls?"
I think that I must be up there. As for this, it has to be Deletraz. Qualified 7 seconds behind his team-mate once, his only finish was 7 laps down, and on his debut he was lapped on lap 10 (at Adeliade, which had more laps than anywhere else). Of course we can't forget the calssic 'And what IS Deletraz doing?' either. |

I would have to say Rosset because in Takagi's rookie year he DNQed 4 times and only beat Takagi 5 times in 17 GPs and he was supposed to be the experienced driver.
Thank goodness hes gone |

I wasn't around to watch Deletraz, or Inoue, Lavaggi, or Chisea, but I do know Deletraz was very bad, but from F1 I've watched hes had to be the worst driver in the past 5 years

Excuse me for stating the obvious, but shouldn't all time go a bit further back than the 1990's! Lets try Monaco 1958, a certain Bernie Ecclestone failed to qualify in his only appearance in a Connaught (surely not the same person is it?).

"Andrea Chiesa was a quakity driver in a sh*tbox!"
Utter rubbish. The 1992 Fontmetal was a quality car, in belgium Gabriele Tarquini qualified it 11th, and was a comfortable qualifier every time. Chiesa's record was 10 appearances, 7 DNQs, 2 crashes (one on the first lap) and one mechanical failure. |

Fomet only really ran one car, for Tarquini I think.
Chiesa was in a 'biza, let's get some cash from this guy' wreck... |
