Brands Hatch Thread - Round 10 - 2-4th May 2008
Just under three weeks to go then until Brands Hatch hosts the final round of A1GP Season 3. Switzerland are in the driving seat for the title, and as long as they finish in the points and New Zealand do not win both races they will be crowned champions.
Anything can happen in A1GP it seems, so who knows what will happen come race day! I will be there all 3 days. Who's going? Provisional Timetable Last edited by dazbaz_99; 14 Apr 2008 at 16:10. |

Almost missed this thread 'cause of its title.
Brands Hatch is always fun, good for you lot. Wickens off to WSR and a 3.5 so half expecting Morad gets the call for the entire weekend, giddy-up. |

Looking forward to A1GP! Shame the support races are a bit lacklustre. We will be there Sat and Sun. Pit straight grandstand.
It will be my 3 year olds first major single seater race experience. |

OK the Sports 2000 may be a bit thin on the ground... but overall it's a nice package... I think the marshals may be a bit busy and will deserve the drinks that you spectator types will buy us |

Ahh those are my 'desert storm' boots bought especially for Dubai and Qatar where it's somewhat warmer.

I was going to say the same thing. I would probably go for ear defenders just to make sure. Those A1GP cars are DAMN loud! I'll be there all 3 days, hope we get the same atmosphere as last year, it was magic. |

Best of luck to all teams. If you get the chance to chat to Jonny Reid, ask him to show you what we embroidered on the inside the belt of his race suit!
Not many teams are wearing race suits manufactured within the country they represent... |

Thank you for your comments! The kids always wear ear defenders for all races. This is their first major single seater race, however they have been to F1 tests and Friday of the GP, also more BTCC and GT races than I care to count!
The support races: Britcar is very entertaining, however FPA has never interested me, not denigrating it for other spectators! I am a little disappointed compared with the first time I went to A1GP (Historic F1, Porsches and others I can't remember) |
