Combe september double header DROPPED?!
 :confused:  I have today seen the full race calendar for Castle Combe and there is NO September double header! What has happened? - This meeting was originally going to hold a non championship round of the National Superbikes. Can anyone shed any light on this matter as it all seems a bit SCV8ish at the moment.... |

It's still shown on the calendar on the circuit website for 25th/26th September...

I had seen that Neil, but the site fixtures have not been updated for a couple of weeks which is what made me wonder. I have now sent an email to Combe asking for clarification either way of that particular meeting - will post reply when I get it.

At the Marshals' training day, the weekend in question was earmarked for the Superbikes.

It is going to be a Superbike National racing weekend and not cars as in the past.

Panic over - Totally all bikes as you say G Tanner. The fixtures guide I looked at was issued to scruteneers and car race officials (Guys who wouldn't know as much about bikes)so the meeting date had been completely left off!!

There seems to be a bit of calendar jiggling still ongoing, as the MSCC car meeting at Mallory has now been swallowed up by BSB.
