McMillan himself has said they're trying to get things sorted for Croft. They hope to be there.
Fingers crossed for them.

McMillan will not be at Croft, per the BTCC site. His engines were returned from the engine builders in pieces, with several parts missing. Shame, but hopefully he will be all sorted for the next round.

Leason and Hughes will also be missing.

Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to some more action.

i really feel for liam mcmillan as his no-show this round and the last doesnt appear to be his fault at all. wish him well as hes sort of local to me.

reckon this season is shaping up to be a humdinger. neal playing for points, turks flying as is thommo! despite being a round down. more to come from plato and jackson. gio yet to but surely to show some form and put a challenge in and rob 'rock ape' collard (nickname accredited to jimmy t) really in with a shout and hopefully shut the doubters up. ace!!!

Last minute change for Team Aon. Morrison can't race for personal reasons so Tom Onslow-Cole has been brought in as a replacement.

OC would have probably been a better choice all along, although Morrison has gradually shaken off the rust to run close to Chilton. However, OC's intended drive in the Doctor's car would have been more competitive.

Looks like it could be a Chevy / BMW benefit this weekend.

Anyone want to give me odds on Jelley's race finishing in the Clervaux gravel trap on lap one?

If Jelley can get ahead of Plato on lap 1, which he surely can, Turkington's got race one, and quite probably race two. Unless it rains.

I think this could be the weekend Jelley finally gets some results. He's been driving well all year but just got involved in a few incidents. He's at the front so he can finally get some podiums

I was thinking he would get a better start but will Plato bother to brake when they get to the first corner?

Well Jelley proved you doubters wrong. Solid 2nd place, albeit 3 seconds behind Turkington.

What was Vaulkhard thinking trying to go side by side through Jim Clark Esses? That in turn contributed to his spin at the complex and the collison with Chilton (right rear tyre would still have been cold / dirty).

After Pinkney's off in race three I'm expecting a bit of a rant from Steve Neal and for once I think I'm going to agree with his. What were they thinking trying to re-start the race when there was clearly large lakes of standing water?

I think Tim Harvey unwittingly summed it up when he said he hoped they finished the race before they went off the air. I can't help thinking that if it wasn't for the live TV coverage they would have stopped all the cars on the grid and suspended the race for half an hour until the weather cleared.

The only rant Steve Neal should have is towards Pinkney smashing his car to bits in a driver related error of judgment, hopefully now Pinkney will walk away from it all as he' been dreadful all season.

Forgot to add regarding the Neal and Plato incident that Plato will either go unpunished or he will get points on licence but will not get points/position deduction.

Plato got two points on his licence. I don't believe the regs allow for a (championship) points deduction. The would be no point giving him a time penalty so that he was demoted a place since it doesn't give Neal the place back and just gives Turkington an extra place. The only other option would be a disqualification which is probably a bit harsh.

That was a great bit of action, made even better by the fact that they both kept their cool (so to speak) and didn't punt each other off. Excellent end to the race I thought, tho I'm as suprised as others that it didn't get stopped (but not surprised due to the TV factor...)

Pinkney's looked like a hell of an impact, certainly sent the tyres flying up, just caught site of the marshals on post moving swiftly out of the way..

Pinkneys accident brought back memories of last year.. thankfully no injuries this year to anyone.

So has Jelley proved anyone wrong today? Three podiums in anyones book is a good weekend.

just thought id add this in, i think pinkney is a great driver and a great chap, he has been in and amongst racing for many years and i think he is a good ambasador for the championship and he often picks up the odd point

Also, i think everyone that is anti-plato should calm down, including matt neal because you could see that he was aquaplaining and therefore could not control the car.

Hmm whats done is done anyway.
