Rod Birley should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Lydden Aug. 7th/8th

Just a quick note to let the orange clad brigade know that there are full grids for Lydden this weekend particularly on Saturday. 21 Jaguar XJS in one race has got to be exciting. Group Ones even have four reserves. With no Formula Saloons at Brands this weekend, Lydden is where most of the saloon car action will be...at least in the south.
There will be a BBQ on Saturday evening, plus cold drinks and chocolate bars during the day. All will be welcome.

Come come Rod, the BM's and Legends are at Brands, so action can be expected

He looks like the man who was about to be lynched last night by one of the women in the Jaguar paddock

That'll be the one with lots of brass bits floating around the bottom of the gearbox

Sue commented on the expensive sounding noises. Do you need the number of a friendly gearbox company.

thanks to all the orange clad heroes at Lydden hill today for your usual sterling service. I was in a bergundy XJS no41 in the last race of the day. you all seemed to have a lovely tan.

Well Rod he did have a nasty habit today - everytime he waved a blue flag, the car either nearly lost it, spun or decided to cover us in dust by running wide through our gravel trap!
He's standing at rather a strange angle because he was about to get my boot up his backside

Good meeting, nice cars, great weather and who would ever have thought you could fit 21 big Jags around Lydden Hill!
