George Tracey?
A question to the Irish guys on this forum really, how serious do you think he is about getting a frontline Division 1 car. I have just been reading about his rally exploits, and with him just purchasing a Peugeot 206 WRC for rallying I guess rallycross is his hobby, or am I wrong?

I think george like many of us likes rallycross for thrill, sure a win here and there is an added bonus.
Id say he will eventually put his second 6r4 to bed and buy something a bit more modern, he makes a very good living out of his helicopters, and rallycross is much much cheaper than rallying well in terms of entry fees it is but thats no object to these boys. Sure rallycross is a hobby for us all, unless your name is kenneth hansen or per eklund where its a career |

I have been told that he has a sequential gearbox got for the Metro so I'd imagine he'll use that for a wee while longer.

He seems to hgave a bottomless pit of money though doesnt he, a 206 WRC doesnt come cheap nor do some of the bits that he has fitted to the Metro, so a Xsara at 150k is a snip when you come to thinkof it.
Does anyone know what he does or shouldnt I ask! |
