Milka Duno to Race in "one off" Porsche Supercup race
Oh well, heres another car for her to fail in.
I seriously doubt she will do anything this weekend. Particulary if the likes of Bouchet, Ortelli etc are still in the series? |

Well the Porsche cup is GT racing. And this is news about the Porsche cup, just reporting on it. She does race in the ALMS after all, and was at Sebring. Just thought Id mention, especially as the race will be televised alongside the F3000 race when the F1 cars hit Montreal on ITV's, International Motor racing programme.
This is the sportscar/GT forum, so I thought its the best place to discuss it. Good to see another big name in the series, even if she does lack the talent to win races.. |

Looks _and_ money. I'm suprised she's not driving in F1 or CART.

People REALLY don't like Milka Duno, do they? I've never really seen her race, so I can't say, but she is the only woman to drive an LMP900 so far. Is she so very lame?

I raced against her in Skip Barber as well with brian sellars that year. 1998, she was okay mid pack really. but her budget! she has cash coming out her rear. Every test session and data analysis possible there. she funds most of her drives and so i assume she found some minor backing at the supercup. nice bird really, much more attractive in person than photos suggest, but i have said it before, i f I had her backiing or cash i would be doing the same thing...
the list is big though, Duno, yoong oh why don't really talented people get rides? |

I don't really have anything against her on a personal level... Same with Yoong, I'm just _very_ tired of seeing well-heeled drivers with little talent advance through the ranks while there are potential world champions who can't advance for lack of funding.

Milka duno seems not that bad, hum... even if she causes some time troubles on the track to the fastest Audis...
Never mind, our passion needs money too, if we have to stand middle level drivers to have the best on the other hand, well... and they have to qualify now at LM, anyway... |

Sorry Saleen, I wasn't gettting at the fact that you posted about Ms. Duno - clearly right we should know. Its just that I've seen nothing to dissaude me from the "plenty money, little talent" thought.

Acording to her site she is just doing the race at Barcelona today. So too late to get there! Apparently she also practiced at the German Porsche Cup round at Hockenheim last weekend but failed to qualify.
