What tyre size to use and where to buy part worns from?
Hi everyone,
I've got a set of 18x8 oz Alleggertia wheels and am trying to decide on tyre width. I've seen loads of 225's available but I've only used 245's on the wheels before. Can I get away with 225's? They are loads cheaper! Also I'm looking for dunlop dz03g, yokohama ad08r or federal 595 rsr at a push Is there anywhere I can get them apart from eBay? would suggest 225s are fine but it also depends on profile, have a read. Source is tricky as you don't say where you are or even which country you're in, but if in UK I'd call Adams & Page in High Wycombe for Yokos. HTH |

Fascinating!
The header states: " ............where to buy part worms from?" Well, no need to buy 'em; simply sprinkle soapy water on your lawn and when the worms rise, chop 'em in half with a sharpened spade! |

Would advise against Federals, very unpredictable in damp/wet conditions.Good grip in the dry though.Stay with dunlop or yokies.

I've not been able to find much out about the federal a, so it's good to have some feedback finally!
I think the yokohama are the best bet then! |
