As a father of three miscreates myself, Ralf and I have something in common...

We can both blame our children for the fact that we were never ever going to be the World Drivers Champion.



This was actually said in jest - yeh, social security person, I really love my kids. And I like the look of post pregnant women. Does it for me everytime man. Really. But Ralf, father or not - is useless.

Thank goodness it wasn't twins!
At least the baby was a singleton - think of the problems that may have arisen if there had been twins and one had to face up to being second!

All the best to them. I have young 'nippers' so my take is that Ralfie will be looking a mite knackered next year - although having said that he does spend half a year sleeping in a luxury trailer.

Well done indeed. Far more important than all that F1 guff!

Can't resist a little F1 guff though! And I mean this sincerely by the way - I hope that fatherhood brings a little more inner peace to the guy, and that this reflects positively in his performances. With just a little less out-and-out agression and a little more calmness and consistency I think Ralf has as a good chance as any.

I can certainly say that fatherhood has had a positive effect on me along these lines.

Yeah - but have you ever wondered (after being woken up at 3am!) whether they might just have the aptitude to take up karting at a tender age and ultimately progress to make you a happy and well-provided for man in your old years.

Having said that, by then they will probably have to drive cars with no steering wheels and sensors attached to their temples!
