Fay should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Tour Britannia

I have just been advised of some circuit changes to this event, they should now read as follows:-

Tuesday 5th September - Oulton Park International Circuit
Wednesday 6th September - Donington Park Grand Prix Circuit
Thursday 7th September - Cadwell Park Long Circuit
Friday 8th September - Mallory Park

As you can see we will need quite a few marshals to man these circuits. If you are available for any of the days please volunteer to HSCC or PM me.

The dates were only finalised at the end of last week.

I have been told at these are the "final" version. However, since this is at least the third version we will have to wait and see.

Dave, I would have thought you would have preferred Mallory as the last day. In fact, it has always been the last day at Mallory for this year's event. Silverstone was going to have been on the Thursday.

How on earth do you get in a MX5, or more importantly get out of one!!

Sorry, Guys, to ask what may seem like to most people a muppetry question, but are these meetings full blown racing days, or are they more akin to a sprint???

Providing the format is the same as last year there will be regulatory sessions (5 laps to be completed to a given time). There will be a practice session for slower cars at the end of the session they stop on the starting grid are gridded up then straight into a race, the same then happens for faster cars. There were also some rally sessions.

Rumour has it, it's an MX6 not at MX5 (see Waterproof Seat Covers thread). Not a proper sports car! Not like (picking an example entirely at random) an RX8, for example!

At least with an MX5 there wouldn't be any problem with headroom...

Will there be the run up Shelsley Walsh like last year?

I marshalled at that and it was a great few hours. A great variance of cars.

Ouch P.J & yes it is a MX6 not 5. Anyone that thinks it's not a sports car is welcome in the passenger seat for a few laps somewhere!
