Formulahistory should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2014 Super Formula series

The field could be much stronger in 2014 with Bird, Baguette and Karthikeyan rumoured to join the series.

You can read less in Europe about the series but what information do you have about the 2014 driver line-ups?

It's because this thread needs news about the driver lineups, like in the 2014 Super GT thread.

There is a new car to discuss - the SF14, quite a nice bit of kit.

It could be a very good line-up in Auto GP with all the top Japanese driver and Lotterer, Karthikeyan, Baguette, Liuzzi, perhaps also Rossiter and Bird! Then perhaps Sato...

With Sato, Karthikeyan, Nakajima and Liuzzi could be 4 former F1 drivers there. When were there that much last time?

AutoGP level of competition has never been any close to Super Formula.

Only in Super GT though it seems?
It says something about not doing open-wheel, so he wouldn't be in Super Formula?
A shame if he isn't, hope Honda don't miss a trick here.

But the linked article says he's hired for Super GT, not Super Formula.
Yes, he might end up competing in Super Formula as well, that's what I said I was hoping would happen.

How many cars will Honda enter in the series? Dallara did 20 cars only.

gaaaazFR should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Toyota already confirmed 11 cars during its Global Motorsport presentation this week :

Teams and drivers are known :

Kondo Racing (n°3) : James Rossiter

Team Le Mans (n°7 & 8) : Ryo Hirakawa and Loic Duval

KCMG (n°18) : Yuichi Nakayama

Team Impul (n°19 & 20) : JP. De Oliveira and Narain Karthikeyan

Petronas Team TOM's (n°36 & 37) : André Lotterer and Kazuki Nakajima

P.M.U /Cerumo-INGING (n°38 & 39) : Hiroaki Ishiura and Yuji Kunimoto

Tochigi Le Beausset Motorsports (n°62) : Koki Saga

Can we expect 11 cars as well from Honda?

Is Karthikeyan yet fix at Impul?

Would be nice to see him back in the series.

Rossiter, Lotterer, Nakajima, Karthikeyan, Duval - that are some good names.

Liuzzi could be with Honda, Baguette,too...

Sounds good. Here's a possible entry for all the rest of the Super Formula teams. Text plus lineup are shown.

Lineup
Nakajima Racing: D. Nakajima / Baguette
HP Real Racing: Tsukakoshi / Nakayama
Team Mugen: Sato / T. Kobayashi
DoCoMo Team Dandelion Racing: Kogure / Mutoh

Text only
- Kohei Hirate, Richard Bradley, Hironobu Yasuda, Yuji Kunimoto and Andrea Caldarelli might have no drive in Super Formula.
