Would Bentley benefit from running a LMP 900?
Bentleys return to Le Mans this year with their EXP 8 GTP was an impressive one. However , Martin Brundle was compalining that because the car was a GTP it had to have smaller wheels , and it was heavier than the LMP 900's as it had the roof and doors. Would they benfit from running a LMP 900 perhaps? Okay it wouldn't look as good as the EXP 8 but it would be more able to compete with the Audis and the Chyslers.

They might benefit, but it's not worth it to go with a completely new car, now that they've more or less commited themselves with the GTP concept. Besides, they've proven that the car is very strong in only it's first year, and that it will be a serious contender for an overall victory next year.

obviously now they should stick with the gtp, but I think a lmp would've been better from the get go. BMW proved that the lmp is superior to the gt cars in 99
