VDM's busy trying to sort out where he's gonna spend what precious money he has for next year. Green probably couldn't get an entry - as of Brands F3 he was no longer contracted to Carlin.

No ASM team this year? They won this race last year with Gommendy.
 |

Yes, it's a shame about ASM - Olivier Pla was good round Macau last year, could've been a strong contender...

Narain will go off in the same place as he always does - at least the Carlin boys know where to go and find the bits!
Briscoe was awesome round Pau earlier in the year, but Macau is tough... |

What tyres will they use and does that give some people from some series any advantage?

I wouldn't bet against Montin for pole. Don't think he'll win though - his desperation for the win will again get the better of him. Just like last year...
Also after last year, Courtney knows how important it is to survive the first race! |

Dome Japan is about to make their entries as well. If so I heard they will have de Oliveira and Yamanishi driving. sering the Lola could be interesting, speccialy the first time for a japansese team facing all the brits.

As I recall from the past few years, they use Yokohamas. The Brits use Avons, Euroseries run on Kumhos. Not sure about the Japanese series...

Another one to watch will be Doornbos - for me he was the revelation of last year's race. 5th on his first visit...

i think the japanese use Brigdestone in their series, not sure though...
the german series uses Yokohama, so Oliveira and JB Motorsport should know them, but also teams like Swiss, TME and other teams who used them in the old german series Last edited by flor; 16 Oct 2003 at 21:24. |

But we don't know if Joao Paolo is going - he has no budget for it as of now

Yeah, is a shame for JB motorsport, they could look like **** without him. He plays a big part of the game there, so I guess they could get into trouble. I hope de Oliveira will fit in Dome, he could make that thing work better than anyone.

Depends which Lola it is - the one that was out in the UK this year had absolutely no advantages
