DEADLINE FOR PICKS: Friday, June 30, at 7 p.m. (GMT)..That is approx. 2 p.m. on Friday, June 30…I have a VERY busy Holiday weekend of concerts, and this will allow me to get my scoring sheets in order in time for the weekend.

PLEASE Get them in Before the Deadline

-- Always one of the fast and exciting events on the IRL’s season calendar, the 15-degree banks at Kansas Speedway have always led to fast, side-by-side action and some of the closest finishes in IRL History….

Here are your Qualifying Results:

basically, our picks (with a few exceptions) stunk...

No one had Wheldon on the Pole

OpenWheel was closest to the pole speed for 2 pts.

In the Top Three Rows, Tim had 5 of 6 with three correct ((Dixon, Helio & Meira) for 8 pts., DrDisque & AlwaysFirst had 5 of 6 with none correct for 5 pts., and OpenWheel, Alwaysfirst & Flavinha had 4 pts. each...Flavinha picked Dixon correct

No one had Cheever as the slowest qualifier...

OpenWheel was closest to the slow qualifier's speed for 2 pts.

No one had Lazier as the "Just Miss" for the top three rows...in fact, many of us picked him to be the slowest...

I'll add scores when I get home from work late tonight...I'm working a concert, and I'm expecting a lot of media tonight...May be late, but I'll get them in...

But I picked the top 3 correct, the winner and 3 of 4 milestones...

I'm waiting on fast Lap, speed, and the official Mover and fall figures...

Here are your Race Results and Kansas Contest totals:

Tim & Marcus picked Hornish to win for 2 pts. each

In the "Top Five"
